Developers Day Workshop is an optional extra to the conference.
Can I get a discount?
No, sorry! As the rates this year have been reduced substantially, there is no opportunity to give discounts for groups or speakers.
How do I get to Swansea?
You can find lots of travel information links on our Travel & Hotels page, including directions to the Swansea University campus and information on Bus, Train and Air providers.
What will the dress code be?
Smart and Casual – we like our delegates to feel comfortable!
The weather in Swansea in April has in past years proved to be cool but dry – we hope that this will continue in 2010! As with all weather conditions in the UK at most times of the year – we recommend you pack for varied weather conditions and consider bringing an umbrella!
Will there be a Conference Dinner or a Party?
Due to popular demand from attendees of previous Blackboard user conferences in Europe, we’re delighted to advise that in 2010 we will be holding a formal conference dinner (free seating at round tables of 10) and we’ll be joined by traditional Welsh entertainment after the dinner. Lots of time for networking!
If you feel you’d like an opportunity to dress up for the occasion in your sequins or dinner suits – you’d be most welcome!
If I have any questions about the conference, which aren’t answered here on the website – who do I contact:
For questions regarding the program, send an email to: BbEurope2010@blackboard.com with your request/question – we promise one of the team will get back to you very quickly!
