Submit Your Session in Advance!
We recommend that you submit your session ahead of time to save you time and worry onsite. But if, for any reason, you cannot upload your presentation ahead of time (or you make changes after you have arrived at the conference), please bring your session PPT on a Flash Drive to the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled Presentation.
At BbWorld
Speakers should check-in at the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled presentation. This will allow time to review and finalize your presentation. The computers in the Speaker Ready Room will be configured with hardware and software identical to the computers in the meeting rooms. We highly recommend that you review your presentation in the Speaker Ready Room to ensure a smooth presentation. Staff will be available to assist with technical issues.
Speaker Ready Room Hours and Location
The Speaker Support Room is located in the Chesapeake D, at the Gaylord National Convention Center. The Speaker Ready Room will be open:
Monday, July 13 – 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Tuesday, July 14 – 7:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday, July 15 – 7:00am – 5:30pm
Thursday, July 16 – 7:00am – 6:00pm
Friday, July 17 – 7:30am – 4:00pm
Audio/Visual Information
Blackboard will provide a standard AV support package for all sessions. Session rooms will be supplied with the equipment outlined below:
- LCD Projector with Stand
- Projection Screen
- Laptop Computer with XP/IE/ Office 2003
- Laptop Speakers
- Wireless PowerPoint remote
- Internet Connection
If you need anything in addition to these elements, you must contact BbWorld@blackboard.com by June 15, 2009.
