BbSummit Australasia '09 Attendee FAQs

Q: How do I make a hotel reservation for BbSummit Australasia in Brisbane, Queensland?

A: Hotel information can be found on our Hotel & Travel page.  A limited allocation of King Hilton Deluxe rooms has been reserved for our conference delegates at Hilton Brisbane Hotel, at a special rate of AUD$255.00 per night stay, and AUD$275.00 per night stay with breakfast.  The room rates quoted include GST and all other taxes.

Please remember to quote group code 'GBLAA' to get the special rate.  Please book your room as soon as possible to ensure availability. For more information about the Hilton Brisbane hotel, please click here.
 
Q: What is the attire for the conference?
A: Business Casual to Casual.  We recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket for added warmth, as personal temperature preferences can vary.
 
Q: Are we allowed to bring guests to BbSummit evening events?
A: Registered BbSummit Australasia ‘09 conference attendees and exhibitors are automatically invited to attend the social events at BbSummit Australasia ‘09. Guests are welcome to attend, for an additional fee.  More information on guest registration is available on our registration site.
 
Q: Who do I contact if I have special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility, specific dietary needs, etc.?
A: You should include those requests in the Special Needs section of the registration site.
 
Q: Where can I find Call for Proposal information?
A: The Call for Proposals is now closed.  All speakers should have been notified regarding the status of proposals.  Please email us at BbSummitAustralasia@Blackboard.com with any questions.
