Conference Sessions

Submit Your Session in Advance!
Speakers are encouraged to upload their presentation prior to arriving at the conference. We will accept presentations online until Friday, 3 April. To upload your materials, please click here.
We recommend that you submit your session ahead of time to save you time and worry onsite. But if, for any reason, you cannot upload your presentation ahead of time (or you make changes after you have arrived at the conference), please bring your session PPT on a Flash Drive to the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled Presentation.
At BbWorld Europe
Speakers should check-in at the Speaker Ready Room at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled presentation. This will allow time to review and finalize your presentation. The computers in the Speaker Ready Room will be configured with hardware and software identical to the computers in the meeting rooms. We highly recommend that you review your presentation in the Speaker Ready Room to ensure a smooth presentation. Staff will be available to assist with technical issues.
Speaker Ready Room Hours and Location
The Speaker Support Room is located in Salon Jade, at the The Fira Palace Hotel.
- Monday 6 April - 3:00pm-7:00pm
- Tuesday 7 April - 7:30am-6:00pm
- Wednesday 8 April - 7:30am-4:00pm
Audio/Visual Information
Blackboard will provide a standard AV support package for all sessions. Session rooms will be supplied with the equipment outlined below:
- Projection Screen
- LCD Projector with Stand
- Laptop Computer with XP/IE/ Office 2003
- Laptop Speakers
- Wireless PowerPoint remote
- Internet Connection

Poster Sessions
Poster sessions will take place during the Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall (Salon Verdi) on Monday, 6 April. Poster presenters should setup their posters from 2:00pm until 4:00pm in Salon Verdi at The Fira Palace Hotel.
If you cannot setup your posters during the setup time, please email BbWorld@blackboard.com and get alternate instructions.
Poster Session Specifications
Blackboard will provide one poster board for you to mount your poster materials.
- The poster board will be 96cm wide by 220cm height, and free standing.
- Blackboard will provide appropriate mounting materials for you to attach your poster elements directly to the board.
